CAMPUS
Can I come and visit the campus at any time? I would like to discuss the programme more fully with somebody.
Campus has open access at all times. Please contact the school if you would like to meet a staff member on a visit to the campus.
What sort of leisure facilities do you have on campus?
The main School of Psychology is based in 2 buildings in the centre of the campus with another part being situated at the medical school for FMRI scanning. We have many dedicated laboratories and PC clusters available to students.
The campus has a full range of leisure and social facilities that support a large number of postgraduate students. These include a large sports centre with swimming pool, shops, cafes and bars. The nearby Bristol Road has many student friendly cafes, bars and curry houses.
My partner and child will be accompanying me. What facilities are available for them?
If you want to bring your family with you to Birmingham, it is advisable to apply early. The university has some family accommodation available and a Nursery, and all efforts are made to make families feel at home in Birmingham.
Where will I live and what sort of budget should I set aside for this?
There is a wide variety of housing in the area, including studios, flats and houses. The housing agency on campus can provide full details of locally available accommodation.
Single postgraduate students from outside the U.K. are guaranteed a place in university accommodation (subject to certain conditions).
